On Saturday, 11 April, 2020, the first regular meeting of the Japanese school year was held. That was the first one after Mr Miyazaki became the running president. It was planned to be held at Tsuda University, but it was held online as a preventive measure against the spread of COVID-19. It was our first time to hold a regular meeting online, and it was joined by participants from England, France, Italy, and Germany as well as from all parts of Japan.
The three-and-a-half-hour-long online meeting had the following contents.
- Recent news of each participant
- Online ice-break (Mr Miyazaki)
- Future plans
- Reports on the London seminar (Mr Miyazaki, Ms Fujimitsu, and Ms Uehara)
It is expected that regular meetings will be held online for some time.
